Tasting Notes
This delicious Semillon style expresses vibrant lemon freshness with an equally intense tropical fruit aromatics. The palate delivers green apple and grapefruit providing the perfect balance of vibrant juicy sweet fruits on the mid palate with a crisp semi- dry finish.
Vineyard Notes
In 1985 Bob and Maryanne McLeish planted out 1.75ha of Semillon named block 2 and block 4. The vineyard is hand harvested then fruit is sorted and allocated based on quality.
Production Notes
The Semillon grapes have been whole bunch pressed to minimize phenolics and then put to stainless-steel tank to begin fermentation, the juice was cool fermented to retain some natural residual sugar creating a low alcohol level in the finished wine.
