Tasting Notes
This year the Dwyer Rosé has been crafted from hand harvested estate Merlot. With a blush pink hue and aromatic red cherry and raspberry fruits, the palate is lively with attractive Turkish delight and manuka honey flavours finished with a dusting of spice on a crisp, dry finish.
Vineyard Notes
McLeish Estate started harvesting the Merlot on the 25th of January. After a warm season the more favourable conditions prevailed with long warmer days throughout January. The exceptional quality fruit is reflected in the delicately balanced Merlot as the base of the textural Dwyer Rosé.
Production Notes
The old vine Merlot was hand harvested from the estate vineyards, put through a light press to give the wine its signature hue.
