Tasting Notes
Medium bodied, plummy, earthy and aromatic, with considerable detail, a mulchy savouriness and a deftly applied lattice of oak and grape tannins. The finish is long, refined and rewarding.
Vineyard Notes
Our vineyard was established in 1985 with the vines being hand harvested. Outstanding fruit is selected from the best vintages, the vines undergo fruit thinning prior to vintage, thus ensuring low yields and high quality fruit. The vineyard soil on the DeBeyers Road property is ideal with a mixture of sandy loam and red volcanic clay.
