Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Full of rich, tropical pear, lychee and passionfruit characters. The mid palate displays ripe tropical fruit characters leading to a crisp, dry finish.
Vineyard Notes
The lead up to the 2023 vintage was mild causing a late start in the Hunter Valley with significant rainfall. The last week of January conditions became warm leading into the Verdelho harvest on the 3rd of February. The result of the long, cool ripening period allowed for the grapes to develop intense flavours, whilst maintaining bright acidity.
Production Notes
The grapes for this wine were sourced from the single vineyard. The fruit was harvested early February, and immediately pressed to a stainless steel tank. A cool ferment helped to retain bright aromatic characters, followed fermentation the wine was bottled early under screwcap to retain vibrant primary fruit characters.
