Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
Ripe tropical pear, white peach, lychee and passionfruit characters. The mid palate displays a luscious mouth feel, leading to a crisp, dry finish.
Vineyard Notes
The last week of January conditions became warm leading into the Verdelho harvest on the 21st of January. The result of a warm growing season allowed for the grapes to develop intense flavours, whilst maintaining bright acidity.
Production Notes
The single vineyard Verdelho was hand harvested and immediately pressed to a stainless steel tank. A cool ferment helped to retain bright aromatic characters, followed fermentation the wine was bottled early under screwcap to retain vibrant primary fruit characters.
